As the Congress debates the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, supported by the president and leaders of both houses, a massive opposition is taking shape, including labor, environmental, immigrant and faith groups.  According to Larry Cohen, president of the Communication Workers of America, one of the leaders in the fight, if the vote were taken in the House today, the Fast Track authorization would fail. Cohen lays out in great detail the devastating effects on our trade deficits, jobs, and immigration that have resulted from NAFTA, CAFTA and trade agreements already in effect.
